Delivery & timing
Can you deliver a porta potty today?
Yes. Paul Rental Works offers same-day porta potty delivery in Rowlett and nearby cities. Call (469) 326-3946 in the morning so dispatch can add you to a route that day. A rush delivery charge can apply to same-day orders, and it is listed on your quote before you pay.
Is it too late to get a porta potty for tomorrow?
Usually not. Next-day delivery is routine for standard units in Rowlett, Rockwall, Sachse, Garland and Mesquite. Busy Fridays and holiday weekends sell out first, so call as soon as you know your date.
What's the earliest you could get it here?
The earliest is the same day you call, when a truck and unit are free. On most weekdays a morning call gets an afternoon drop. Dispatch tells you the delivery day on the first call.
What time will the driver drop it off?
Drivers run routes from about 7am and finish by early evening. Paul Rental Works guarantees the delivery day, not an exact minute, because traffic and earlier stops move the schedule. You can ask for a morning or afternoon window, and the driver calls ahead.
Can you guarantee it'll be there first thing in the morning?
No company can promise an exact minute. For a morning start, the safest plan is delivery the afternoon before. For events, Paul Rental Works delivers the day before at no extra charge so the unit is in place before guests arrive.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
No. Mark the spot with a cone, stake or ribbon, leave gate codes in your order notes, and keep the path clear. The driver places the unit and can text a photo of the placement.
Will the driver call before arriving?
Yes. The driver calls or texts before arriving, typically about 30 minutes out. Give us a second on-site number if you might miss the call.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Paul Rental Works delivers Monday through Saturday. Weekend events are set up on Thursday or Friday and picked up Monday, and you are not charged for the extra days. Sunday drops are by special arrangement only.
Can you drop it off Friday and pick it up Sunday?
Pickup happens on the next business day, which is Monday. The rental price for a weekend event is flat, so a Monday pickup costs the same as a Sunday pickup would.
If you deliver it Thursday, when do I have to give it back?
For an event rental, the unit is picked up on the first business day after your event. You do not pay for the early drop or the day after.
What's the latest I can call and still get one?
For same-day delivery, call before late morning. For next-day delivery, call any time during business hours (Mon–Sat 7am–7pm). The earlier you call, the more trucks we can route to you.
How far ahead should I book for a big event?
Book 2–4 weeks ahead for spring weddings, graduation weekends, July 4th and fall festivals. Deluxe sink units and restroom trailers sell out first. Standard units can usually be booked a few days ahead.
Can I reschedule my service day? Nobody will be there to open the gate.
Yes. Call dispatch at least one business day before the service visit and we move it to a day the gate is open. A gate code in your notes avoids the problem.
What happens if the driver can't get to the spot?
The driver calls you from the site. If the unit cannot be placed because of a locked gate, a blocked drive or soft ground, we agree on a new spot or a new time. A return trip fee can apply when the site is not ready.
Prices & fees
How much is a porta potty rental in Rowlett?
Price depends on unit type, rental length, servicing, delivery distance and quantity. In the 69 porta potty rental calls we reviewed from 2025–2026, a standard event unit for a weekend was usually quoted between $249 and $356 all-in. Your exact price comes on one itemized quote.
How much is it to rent a standard porta potty for a month?
A month-long rental runs on a 28-day billing cycle with weekly cleaning included. In the calls we reviewed, standard construction units were quoted at about $199 to $375 per 28 days, plus a one-time delivery and pickup charge. The first cycle costs more because it carries the delivery and pickup.
How much is a porta potty for one day or a weekend?
Event units are priced as one flat rental, not per day. That flat rate covers delivery, pickup and the event days, whether you keep the unit one day or a full weekend. Paul Rental Works quotes the full number on the phone.
Do you rent by the hour or by the day?
No. Porta potties are rented per event (a flat rate for a short rental) or per 28-day cycle for longer jobs. Hourly pricing does not exist in this industry because delivery and pickup are the main cost.
Is the price per toilet or for all of them?
Rental prices are per unit. Delivery is usually charged once per trip, so a second or third unit on the same delivery costs less than the first one.
Does the price include delivery and pickup?
Your itemized quote lists delivery and pickup as their own lines, or states that they are included. Nothing gets added after you pay. Ask dispatch to read each line if you are comparing companies.
Is there a charge to pick it up?
Some companies add a removal fee at pickup. Paul Rental Works puts any pickup charge on the original quote, so the price you agree to is the price you pay.
Are taxes included in the price?
Texas sales tax applies to porta potty rentals. Your quote shows tax as a separate line. Tax-exempt organizations, such as churches, schools and government agencies, can send their exemption certificate and tax is removed.
Why would the invoice be higher than the quote?
It should not be. Our rule is that every fee — delivery, pickup, fuel, card processing, tax, extra cleanings — is listed on the quote before you pay. If anything differs, call us and we fix it.
Is a same-day delivery more expensive?
Same-day delivery can carry a rush delivery charge because a truck is rerouted for you. Dispatch tells you the exact amount before you book, so you can choose between same-day and next-day.
Do you charge holiday pricing?
Holiday weekends like July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day have the highest demand. The price you are quoted is the price of the unit and delivery; we explain any holiday-related change on the quote.
Is it the same price whether I keep it 3 days or a month?
Short event rentals have a flat price. Long-term rentals bill per 28-day cycle, so a 2-week, 3-week or 4-week rental costs one full cycle. If you only need a few days for a job site, ask dispatch which option is cheaper.
Do months two and three cost less?
Yes. After the first 28-day cycle, the delivery and pickup charges do not repeat. You pay only the rental and weekly service for each following cycle.
Is a unit with a sink more expensive than a toilet plus a hand-wash station?
Often they cost about the same. In calls we reviewed, one deluxe unit with a sink inside was quoted at about $290, while a standard unit plus a separate hand-wash station came to more. For small parties, the deluxe unit is usually the better value.
How much is a wheelchair-accessible porta potty?
A wheelchair-accessible unit costs more than a standard unit because it is larger and heavier to haul. In the calls we reviewed, an accessible event unit was quoted at about $405 including delivery and pickup. Call for today's price.
How much does a hand-wash station cost to rent?
A hand-wash station is priced like a unit: one event rate or one 28-day rate. Delivered together with a toilet, the station shares the delivery trip, which lowers the total.
How much is a restroom trailer for one night?
Restroom trailer prices depend on trailer size (2-stall to multi-stall), the event length and the distance. Paul Rental Works quotes restroom trailers by phone after asking guest count, water and power availability and setup surface.
Do you offer discounts?
Paul Rental Works offers lower per-unit rates for multiple units on one delivery and honors tax-exempt status for churches, schools and agencies. Ask about contractor pricing for repeat job-site orders.
Is there a card processing fee?
If a card processing fee applies, it appears on your quote before you pay. There are no surprise fees on the invoice.
Will the extra cleanings be charged later?
Extra cleanings you add during a rental are billed after the visit is done. The per-visit price is quoted when you ask for the extra service.
Units & features
What comes inside a standard porta potty?
A standard porta potty has a toilet seat over a holding tank, a urinal, a toilet-paper dispenser, a hand-sanitizer dispenser, a vent stack, a mirror on most models and a door lock with an occupied indicator. A deodorizer goes in the tank to control odor.
Are your porta potties flushable?
Standard units are not flushable. Deluxe units have a foot-pump fresh-water flush and a sink. Restroom trailers have real porcelain flushing toilets.
Do they have a place to wash hands?
Every standard unit has hand sanitizer. Deluxe units have a foot-pump sink with soap and paper towels. For real hand washing at food events or job sites, add a hand-wash station.
Do you have the porta potties with the sink inside?
Yes. The deluxe unit has a foot-pump sink inside, so guests wash up without walking to a separate station. It is about the same footprint as a standard unit.
Do you have handicap-accessible porta potties?
Yes. Paul Rental Works rents wheelchair-accessible units with a ground-level floor, a wide door, grab bars and a 60-inch turning space inside. They are the right call for public events, parks and job sites with accessibility needs.
Is the deluxe unit bigger than the standard?
No. The deluxe flushing unit is about the same size as a standard porta potty. Its upgrade is inside: flushing, a sink and a nicer finish.
Do you have restroom trailers?
Yes. Paul Rental Works rents restroom trailers with flushing toilets, running-water sinks, mirrors, lighting and climate control. A trailer needs level ground, a garden-hose water connection and a standard outlet or generator.
Does the porta potty come with a lock?
Every unit has an inside door latch. For units left in public, we can add an outside hasp for your padlock so the unit stays closed overnight.
Do you have different sizes?
Yes: standard, deluxe with sink, wheelchair-accessible, hand-wash stations and restroom trailers. The accessible unit is the largest single porta potty.
Will it smell?
A fresh unit has deodorizer in the tank and almost no odor. Smell builds with heavy use and Texas heat. Weekly service, shade placement and extra service for big crowds keep odor down.
Can I get two standards and a hand-washing station?
Yes. Mixing units on one order is common. They come on the same truck, so you pay one delivery.
Is there something people can use at a party so nobody goes inside my house?
Yes. One standard or deluxe unit in the driveway or side yard keeps guests out of your house. For more than about 50 guests, add a second unit.
Do you have trailer-mounted toilets for farm crews?
Ask dispatch. Field crews that move every day often need towable units. Paul Rental Works can also service crew units placed on farm land under OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110 rules.
Cleaning & servicing
How often do you clean it?
Long-term porta potty rentals are serviced once a week. Each service pumps the waste tank, adds fresh deodorizer, cleans the seat, floor and walls, and restocks toilet paper and sanitizer.
Is cleaning included in the price?
Weekly service is included in every 28-day rental. Short event rentals arrive clean and stocked but do not include a mid-event service unless you add one.
What does 'event units do not include cleanings' mean?
It means a weekend event unit is delivered clean and picked up after the event, with no visit in between. For long events or big crowds, add a mid-event cleaning when you book.
Can I get extra cleanings?
Yes. Extra service visits can be added to any rental, for example on Thursday and Sunday for a 4-day festival. Each extra visit has a per-unit price that dispatch quotes on the call.
Do I have to schedule the weekly cleaning?
No. Weekly service is put on the route automatically. Tell us if the site has a gate code or limited hours, such as an office open 7:30–4:30.
Does the waste get dumped on my property?
No. Waste is pumped into the service truck's sealed tank and hauled to a permitted treatment facility. Nothing is emptied on your property.
What does a service visit include?
A full service includes pumping the tank, adding fresh blue deodorizer, scrubbing the seat and urinal, wiping walls and the floor, refilling toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and refilling the fresh water in sink units.
Can I get service twice a week?
Yes. Crews of more than about 10 workers per unit or sites working long weeks should get two services per week. Dispatch can price both options so you can compare.
Do you service porta potties I already own?
Ask dispatch. Paul Rental Works can quote pumping and cleaning for customer-owned units or RV holding tanks within our routes.
Placement & access
Where should I put the porta potty?
Place the unit on firm, level ground within about 15 feet of where our truck can park. Driveways, concrete pads and flat grass work. Keep it away from windows and AC intakes, and out of low spots that collect rain.
Can you put it in my backyard?
Yes, if the path is clear and the gate is wide enough. A standard unit is about 44 inches wide, so a normal 4-foot gate works. The truck must still reach the unit with its service hose, so a far backyard may need a closer spot.
Does the gate need to be large?
A normal single gate of about 4 feet works for a standard unit. Wheelchair-accessible units and restroom trailers need much wider access. Measure before you book.
Can it go on a slope?
A slight slope is fine. A steep slope is not, because the unit can tip and the door may not close. Choose the flattest spot or set the unit on the driveway.
Can it sit on grass or dirt?
Yes. On soft ground, especially Rowlett's clay soil after rain, the unit can sink or lean. A sheet of plywood or a pallet under the unit keeps it level.
How big is your delivery truck? Will it fit my driveway?
Porta potties arrive on a pickup-style service truck or a small flatbed. If a car fits in your driveway, the truck usually can park in front. Tell us about low wires, tight turns or narrow alleys before delivery.
Can the driver find the spot if nobody is there?
Yes. Mark the spot with a cone, stake or ribbon and add notes like 'left side of the driveway by the fence'. You can also email a photo or a map pin.
It has to be on a concrete slab, not the parking lot. Is that OK?
Yes. Put that instruction in your order notes. Placement on a slab, by a dumpster or behind a building costs nothing extra as long as the truck can reach it.
Can I move the porta potty myself after delivery?
You can move an empty unit a short distance, but keep it within reach of the service truck. If you move it where the truck cannot reach, a service visit or pickup can be missed. Never move a unit with waste in it.
Should I worry about HOA rules?
Some Rowlett HOAs limit how long a portable toilet can be visible from the street. Placing the unit at the side of the driveway or behind the garage line usually satisfies them. Check your HOA covenants for long rentals.
Permits & rules
Do I need a permit for a porta potty in Rowlett?
Usually not on private property, such as your driveway or a job site. A permit can be needed on a public street, sidewalk or park. Events with 100 or more people or on public property need a City of Rowlett special event permit, which lists portable restrooms as temporary structures.
How early do I apply for a Rowlett special event permit?
The City of Rowlett asks for special event permit applications at least 60 business days before the event. Apply early, then book your restrooms once your site plan is set.
How many toilets does OSHA require on a construction site?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) Table D-1 requires 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers. For 20 to 199 workers it requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. For 200 or more it requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers.
Do I need a hand-wash station on a job site?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities when workers handle materials like paints, coatings or other contaminants. Many general contractors require a hand-wash station on every site. Paul Rental Works delivers stations with the toilets.
How many accessible units do I need for a public event?
The 2010 ADA Standards, section 213.2, require that where portable toilets are provided in a cluster, at least 5% (and no fewer than one) of the units in each cluster are accessible. Confirm your exact need with your event permit office.
Is a wheelchair-accessible unit the same as ADA-compliant?
Not automatically. A unit can be designed for wheelchair access, but a site is ADA compliant only when the route, surface and placement also meet the standard. We describe our units as wheelchair-accessible and help you place them on a firm, level route.
Can I put a porta potty on the street?
Placing a unit in the street or on a sidewalk is use of public right-of-way and usually needs city approval. In Rowlett, contact the city before placing any unit in the right-of-way. Driveways avoid the issue.
Booking, payment & billing
Do I have to put down a deposit?
Paul Rental Works takes payment by card when you book. That payment reserves the unit and the delivery date. There is no separate deposit on top of the quoted price.
Can I pay the driver with cash or a check?
Drivers do not collect payment. Pay by credit or debit card over the phone or through the secure payment link in your invoice. Business accounts can request invoicing after their first order.
Do you take American Express?
Yes. Paul Rental Works accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
How does signing the rental agreement work?
You get the agreement by text and email. Tap the signature box, type your name, then sign with your finger. If the email does not arrive within 15 minutes, check spam or call us to resend it.
Can someone else pay for the rental?
Yes. We can send the invoice and payment link to a sponsor, homeowner, church office or company card holder. Give us their email when you book.
Can I put a purchase order number on the invoice?
Yes. Give dispatch your PO number and job name and they appear on every invoice for that rental.
Can we set up a business account?
Yes. Contractors and companies can set up an account for repeat orders, with invoices emailed to accounts payable. The first order is usually paid by card while the account is set up.
For month two, will you charge my card automatically?
Yes. Long-term rentals renew every 28 days on the card on file until you call for pickup. You get an invoice each cycle.
Can I get the quote emailed to me?
Yes. Dispatch can email or text a written quote while you are still on the phone. Many churches and schools need it for approval.
Pickup, extension & cancellation
Do I have to call for pickup, or do you come get it?
Event rentals are picked up automatically on the next business day after your event. Long-term rentals stay until you call for pickup. Call 1–2 business days ahead so billing stops on time.
Can I extend the rental if the job runs long?
Yes. Long-term rentals continue automatically each 28-day cycle with weekly service. For events, call before the pickup date and we push the pickup back.
Can you pick it up early if I'm done?
Yes. Call dispatch and we schedule pickup. There is no early-termination fee on a long-term rental.
How do I cancel my order?
Call dispatch at least 24 business hours before your delivery for a full refund. Refunds return to your card in about 7–10 business days. Same-day and rush orders cannot be refunded once the truck is dispatched.
Can I change my order, like adding a sink unit?
Yes. Changes to unit type, quantity or address can be made up to 24 business hours before delivery, subject to availability.
My event got cancelled. Can I get a credit instead?
Yes. Instead of a refund, you can move the order to a future date. Call dispatch to set the new date.
What if the unit is damaged or tipped over?
Call us right away. We service or replace tipped units. Normal wear is on us. Damage from vandalism, fire, or misuse is charged to the renter, as explained in our rental terms.
Quantity & sizing
How many porta potties do I need for 100 guests?
For 100 guests at an event of up to 4 hours, plan 2 standard units. Add 1 unit if alcohol is served, and add 1 more if the event runs 5 to 8 hours. Use our calculator for your exact numbers.
How many people does one porta potty handle?
One standard porta potty serves about 50 guests at a 4-hour event, or about 10 workers for a 40-hour week with weekly service. Heavy use or alcohol means you need more units or more service.
How many porta potties for a 150-guest wedding with a bar?
A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 7 units. Start with 3 units for 150 guests, add 2 because the event runs past 4 hours, then add 2 because alcohol is served. Make 1 of the 7 a wheelchair-accessible unit.
How many porta potties for a construction crew of 15?
OSHA's minimum for 15 workers is 1 toilet. Paul Rental Works recommends 2 standard units on weekly service, or 1 unit serviced twice a week, so the unit stays usable all week.
Is 1 porta potty enough for a backyard party of 40?
Yes. One unit covers about 40–50 guests for a 4-hour party. Add a second unit if the party runs all day or serves alcohol.
How many restroom trailers do I need?
A 2-stall restroom trailer typically suits up to about 100 guests for an evening event. Larger crowds need a bigger trailer or added standard units. Dispatch sizes trailers by guest count, length and whether a bar is open.
How many hand-wash stations do I need?
Plan 1 hand-wash station for every 4 toilets when food is served, and at least 1 near any food or vendor area. On job sites, place a station next to the toilets.

Events, weddings & home use
Should I get a porta potty for a backyard party?

Which unit is best for a wedding?
For weddings, choose deluxe units with sinks or a restroom trailer. Guests in formal clothes value lighting, a mirror and running water. Add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for older guests.
When will you deliver for my Saturday event?

My septic system failed. Can I get a porta potty at my house?
Yes. Paul Rental Works delivers to homes with failed septic systems, broken water lines or remodels in progress, often the same day. A 28-day rental with weekly service fits most repairs.
I'm remodeling my only bathroom. What do I need?
A standard unit on a 28-day rental with weekly service is the usual choice. Contractors often ask homeowners to provide one. Choose the deluxe unit with a sink if family members will use it every day.
Can I get a porta potty for a funeral or memorial at home?
Yes. Tell dispatch the date and guest count. We deliver the day before, place the unit discreetly and pick it up after.
Do church events qualify for tax exemption?
Yes. Send your Texas sales tax exemption certificate and tax is removed from the invoice.

How long can I keep a porta potty on my job site?
As long as the job runs. Long-term rentals bill every 28 days with weekly service until you call for pickup, whether that is 2 months or a year.
What day of the week is service?
Each job site is put on a fixed weekly route day. Dispatch tells you your service day when you book, and you can ask for a day that fits your schedule.
Can I get one on my site by Tuesday for a project starting next week?
Yes. Book a few days ahead and we set the unit before your crew arrives. Give us the site address, gate code and the contact on site.
My vendor didn't deliver. Can you help today?
Yes. Call Paul Rental Works and we try to get a unit on your site the same day. Have the address, placement notes and an on-site contact ready.
Can I put the rental under my business name?
Yes. The rental agreement, invoices and PO numbers can all be under your company name.
Do you have units with a sink for job sites?
Yes. Job sites can rent deluxe units with a foot-pump sink or add a standalone hand-wash station next to standard units.
